Blue Mountains City Council forwarded its finalised Draft Blue Mountains Standard Instruemnt Local Enviroinmental Plan 2013 in late September to the Department of Planning. The newly elected Blue Mountains Mayor noted in this week's Blue Mountains Gazette that,
'… our draft LEP reflects the special values of our City within a World Heritage Area… we look forward to the immeneant approval by the NSW government to proceed to exhibition of the draft LEP for public comment'.
